Foreword from the Captain
Here I am, making my escape plan available to everyone. This is not just another boat trip. I am offering select individuals a chance to be part of a circumnavigation—from planning to execution, all the way to the end. If you’ve ever dreamed of sailing around the world, now is your chance to turn that dream into reality.
Once you’ve read the information on this site and feel intrigued, click the “Plan Your Escape” button. Fill in some details, and I will personally reach out to you. We will schedule a short online meeting where I’ll answer any questions you may have and get to know you better.
If you’re interested and I believe you’d be a good fit, you’ll be placed into escape mates. This means:
You’ll be included in ongoing communications.
You’ll have access to online seminars, training materials, and preparation discussions.
You’ll be part of an exclusive group of like-minded adventurers who are seriously considering joining the journey.
In the summer of 2025, I will make the boat available for short sailing trips in Turkey and Greece. These trips will last 3 days and 2 nights, offering hands-on experience in real sailing conditions.
Participants are highly encouraged to join at least one of these sessions.
If time permits, additional and longer sailing opportunities may arise as the boat undergoes tests, checks, and preparations for the big trip.
I will communicate all available sailing opportunities to the group.
Throughout the winter of 2025 and leading up to the spring of 2026, I will organize various training sessions, guidance programs, and online seminars to ensure everyone is well-prepared. These will cover:
Seamanship
Safety protocols
Route planning
Navigation skills
Emergency procedures
Details of these training opportunities will be shared with the group.
As we approach 2026, I will finalize and publish the detailed sailing plan. This will include specific dates and locations for different sailing sections.
Participants will have the opportunity to sign up for sections that suit their availability and commitment level.
The trip will be divided into sections of varying lengths.
Each section will have an associated cost to cover boat expenses, calculated per person, per day.
Participants will secure their spots by covering their share of the expenses.
The boat has two double beds and one single bed, accommodating a maximum of 5 participants at a time.
Each year, I will publish the upcoming sailing plan, allowing participants to join different sections of the journey. The adventure will continue until we complete the full circumnavigation and return to Izmir, Turkey.

Seminars and training opportunities
Their individualized development plans as sailors and crew members
This is not a commercial operation. There is no fare for passengers—the cost-sharing model ensures that all expenses are covered fairly among participants.
