I’m setting sail aboard my 2024 Leopard 42 catamaran, beginning an exciting 5-year circumnavigation around the world! The journey will be divided into five regions, with each year’s sailing schedule providing a flexible range of sailing legs, from a few days to several weeks, and you can choose to join for specific sections of the journey.
I am a certified Sail Canada Sailing Instructor with many years of offshore and coastal sailing experience and a lifelong passion for the sea. I found that the rigid routines of daily life often stifled true freedom. That’s why I chose to break away from the ordinary and embrace a life guided by the horizon. I have a safety focus on board, and I ensure that everyone feels confident and well-prepared, whether they are seasoned sailors or newcomers eager to learn.
For me, sailing is more than a skill, it is a form of art and boundless exploration. I believe that life should not be confined by routine or expectations, and this journey is about pushing beyond those limits. My motto, Plan Your Escape, reflects my desire to seek true freedom and to inspire others to do the same. I welcome fellow adventurers to be part of not just a voyage but a shared experience where we navigate, learn, and grow together—without boundaries, without limits, and with the open sea as our only guide.
